Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped three members of the same family in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The victims were reportedly seized on Sunday while returning from a condolence visit, according to a Vanguard report.
Local sources, who requested anonymity, said the abduction occurred around 7:00 a.m. and involved residents of the Agboro community.
Those kidnapped were identified as Abiodun Abidemi and Abiodun Olumide, both brothers of the deceased they had gone to mourn, along with Ayomide Moses, the deceased’s son.
However, when contacted, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, denied any knowledge of the incident, saying, “I am not aware.”
