GRAPHIC PHOTOS: Groom’s brothers attack caterer over small chops, leave him with horrific injuries
A woman, simply identified as Anuoluwapo Sanni, has shared some horrific pictures of injuries her brother sustained after he was attacked over small chops while he was working at a wedding in Lagos state.
The woman, who uses the handle @ashabiwealth on Twitter, took to the microblogging platform on Monday, 12 April 2021, to share the pictures and narrate the incident.
According to her, her brother, who was a caterer in charge of small chops at a wedding, was attacked by the younger brothers of the groom because he told them to go and sit down before he served them small chops.
The attack left her brother with deep cuts on his scalp and the wounds had to be stitched.
She said the case was reported to the police but “what the police could say is it’s the case of the rich that we should drop it”.
In a lengthy tweet crying for justice, Sanni wrote,
“My younger brother was brutally injured at his work place by some Rich folks, all that the police could say is it’s the case of the rich that we should drop it, please we need justice!
“It’s not a sympathy line, please! That was exactly what the police officer said! And I wish to give full details of what and how it happened, but Twitter space for typing is limited!
“He works with an event planner, he is the one in charge of small chops, those guys are the younger brother of the groom, they attacked him because he was trying to tell them to go sit in the party hall that he will send someone to serve them. It’s a long story, I can only summarize”.
