Legendary Nollywood actor, Tony Alegiouno, popularly known as Tony Aleg, is dead.

According to online reports, the actor died from an undisclosed ailment.

The news of his death was announced by a Facebook user, Johnson Ubuike. He wrote,

“Is A Sad News To Me To Announce The Death Of A Nollywood Legend And Founder Of Aleg’s Koncept. TONY ALEG. RIP Sir.

In another Facebook post by one Richard Cole, He wrote,

“SO SAD TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF A DEAR FRIEND AND COMRADE TONY ALEGIOUNO aka TONY ALEG AFTER A BRIEF ILLNESS. MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE IN THE LORD!”

Some of his friends on Facebook also shared his photos and wrote condolence messages in memory of Aleg.

“RIP My friend Tony Aleg.

“Today I heard my friend had died. I asked my self why oh why life ticks away so fast.

“But our friendship will forever last. A time to reminisce and cry. But memories Surely that will never die

“As long as I’m still alive I’ll remember the good times we had at that time at the Jazz basin years ago

“Music every day it flowed. But Like a true brother, you were always there Giving advice. Love and Care

“Rest in Peace.Tony Aleg.”

Aleg was known for the movie “Fire Love” and also fondly called “Green Onions.”

However, details of the cause of his death cannot be verified by WuzupNaija.
