Defending Premier League Champions, Manchester City, won their first game of the season by thumping Norwich City 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola’s men bounced back from an opening day defeat to Tottenham in London last week with a ruthless victory in front of their home fans.
Tim Krul’s own goal seven minutes into the game gave the hosts the lead before record breaking signing, Jack Grealish, netted his first City goal on his home debut in the 22nd minute.
Aymeric Laporte (64′), Raheem Sterling (71′) and Riyad Mahrez (84′) rounded up the scoring to seal the win for the Citizens.
