Tweeps have chided Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simi, over her scathing remark on the 2022 Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles, US on Sunday.
The ‘Woman’ singer had tweeted after the ceremony ended; “Just mad Cocomelon didn’t get a Grammy.
Cocomelon is a nursery rhyme for kids.
Her statements caused a stir amongst netizens as most believed she was referring to Wizkid who missed out on two awards at the 2022 Grammy.
Reacting to her statement, Starboy’s fans swooped on her.
