A student of Federal University, Kashere in Gombe State has reportedly died after a dentist allegedly administered the wrong injection on him.
A social media user @Margaret_Ebulue shared the story on Twitter on Thursday evening as she called for justice for the late student.
Tweeting with the hashtag #JusticeForAlex, she said the deceased identified simply as Alex had visited a dentist at the General hospital, Gombe on Wednesday, but the doctor allegedly administered the wrong injection on him which led to his death.
Margaret shared a disturbing video of the moment Alex started reacting badly while he was being treated by the dentist.
She added that the yet-to-be-identified dentist has since fled immediately the patient died and is still on the run.
Margaret tweeted:
“This is Alex, a student at Federal University, Gombe his only offense was that he visited A Dentist at the General hospital, Gombe yesterday where he was administered the wrong Injection, Alex is Dead. The Doctor is on the run we want.”
“Tomorrow (Friday) was supposed to be his birthday but now he’s gone,” she added.
“Further look into the sad event, he was resuscitated,went home and was rushed back to the hospital where he died.
