Give me back my money, Father Mbaka tells Rangers FC
Catholic priest and a staunch fan of Enugu Rangers football club, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, is reportedly demanding that the money he donated to the club be returned to him immediately after he learnt that the money was in wrong hands.
According to sources, Father Mbaka is said to be angry with the club for failure to retain the championship medal in the just concluded tournament.
He is said to have alleged that the Enugu stars are fetish as their supporters were seen sprinkling blood of goats and pigeons on the pitch for luck.
A source close to Mbaka said: “He has given the dissolved management two weeks to give him back the money so that he could share the money with the players himself.”
Rangers did so poorly in the 2017 season. They crashed out in the preliminary round matches of the 2017 CAF Champions League.
