Unconfirmed number of persons, on Friday, lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident that occurred at Naze Aba road, Owerri, Imo State.
This was made known in the post shared on the Facebook page of one Chigozie Iheanacho few hours ago.
The auto crash reportedly occurred after an 18-seater bus had a head-on collision with a petrol tanker.
Chigozie Iheanacho wrote: “Happening now at Naze Aba road, Owerri, just after shangrilla hotels, many confirmed dead! The express road is a death trap and needs expansion… Government should do something about this, though it was the reckless bus driver’s fault ….God save your people”
The state government in a swift response sympathized with the families of the victims and called on drivers and motorists to be more cautious as the new year begins.
