Game of Thrones star's marriage hits rock, husband demands divorce

There have previously been speculations that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s marriage had been strained for at least six months due to significant differences in their lifestyles.

A source close to the situation explained, “She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.”

The divorce of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner appears to have been catalyzed by a revealing ring camera video/audio recording that played a pivotal role in Joe’s decision to file for divorce.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation informed TMZ that Joe Jonas had access to a ring camera that captured footage and audio of Sophie Turner.

According to these sources, this recording contained something that ultimately convinced Joe that his marriage was irreparable.

Over the last three months, Joe had taken on a significant role in caring for their two small children, while Sophie spent time in London.

During this period, Joe and his brothers were on a U.S. tour, and he had the responsibility of looking after their kids.

Joe had reportedly been in contact with at least two divorce lawyers in the week leading up to the divorce filing.

Notably, both of these lawyers are based in Los Angeles, California, where the couple resided. However, Joe decided to file divorce documents in Florida.

In a joint statement released on Wednesday, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner addressed their decision, saying, “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.”

As the details surrounding Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s divorce continue to unfold, fans and the public remain curious about the specific contents of the ring camera recording that played such a crucial role in their decision to part ways.
