GALLANT OFFICERS! Mobile policemen reportedly engage Boko Haram insurgents in battle, several killed [GRAPHIC PHOTOS]
Several officers of a mobile police unit were reportedly killed when they engaged some Boko Haram insurgents in gun battle that lasted for about five hours.
According to various online reports, the police officers were ambushed at Rann- Kala Balge in Borno state. The picture showed the deceased persons were captured, tied up and shot at close range, several of the soldiers and police had bullet holes in their heads.
Online news mediun, SaharaReporters claimed the brutal attack happened last Thursday.
Quoting a security source the platform said that the terror group stormed military base of the 3rd Battalion in Rann headquarters of Kala-Balge on Thursday at about 6 pm and engaged in a gun duel that lasted for 5 hours.
