Galatasaray plan €70m offer to sign Osimhen permanently

Turkish football club Galatasaray is set to make a €70 million bid to sign Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal, according to new reports.

Osimhen, who is currently on loan from Napoli, has been in brilliant form since joining the club after a move to Chelsea failed. He has scored 28 goals in 32 matches for Galatasaray across all competitions.

The Super Eagles striker has quickly become a fan favourite and a key part of the team’s push to win the Turkish Super Lig title and the domestic cup.

Now, Galatasaray’s management is working hard to make his stay in Istanbul permanent, even though many top clubs in Europe, like Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and some Saudi Arabian teams, are also interested in him.

According to Spanish news outlet AS, as reported by Cumhuriyet, Galatasaray is planning to offer Napoli €70 million and give Osimhen a three-year contract worth €15 million per year after tax, with extra bonuses based on performance.

If the deal goes through, it will be one of the biggest transfer moves in Turkish football history. It will also place Osimhen’s salary among the top earners in Europe, competing with offers from Premier League clubs.
