Award winning film maker and actress, Funke Akindele has announced the establishment of her personal real estate firm.
In a video shared across social media platforms, the multi talented thespian noted that she always dreamt of a personal house due to her childhood experience.
Speaking in the video, she said, “ Growing up my family and I didn’t have the best kind of houses.But I have always wished we could live in beautiful homes, you know homes with pools, gardens, flowers.
“Today, I am glad to see the result of my hardwork from creating major projects to becoming an household name, owning homes and representing a major brand like Amen Estate which has exposed me to the world of real estate.”
“In life, you get to a stage where you want to plant a legacy in the hearts of many families as possible upholding them the same dream I had as a child.”
“And as to this, I present to you my(our) own Jenifa gardens.”
Akindele, known for breaking box office records, marketing her movies with several tactics is set to release a new movie titled, “Everybody loves Jenifa”.
Funke speaking recently at a Lagos event, Her Money Her Power, had praised the woman who made her what she is today narrating how she met the developer of Amen Estate, Sade Balogun.
Balogun assisted Funke in shooting her famous TV series Jenifa’s Dairy and provided the funds she needed to shoot her movie Omo Ghetto: The Saga.
