Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman and Chiamaka Nnadozie emerged as major winners at the 2024 Confederation of African Football Awards held on Monday in Marrakech, Morocco.
The glamorous event, attended by top football figures across Africa and beyond, celebrated the year’s most outstanding players, coaches, teams, and officials in African football.
Ademola Lookman, who had an exceptional year with Italian club Atalanta, was crowned CAF Player of the Year (Men)
For the women’s category, Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was named CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for her stellar performances for both club and country. Nnadozie, who plays for Paris FC, dedicated her award to young girls across Africa.
