The draw for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals took place on Wednesday night, with Chelsea set to host Newcastle United in the tie of the round.
The Blues defeated Blackburn 2-0 in the fourth round, while the Magpies hammered holders Manchester United 3-0.
Liverpool will face West Ham United, who eliminated Arsenal in another all-Premier League affair.
The other two ties will see League One side Port Vale welcome Championship outfit Middlesbrough, and Everton take on Fulham.
The games will be played in the week commencing December 18, 2023.
