The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) ceremony is done annually to recognize professionals in the film industry.
This years event was staged on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the Marriot Hotel in Lagos.
The night which was met with so much excitement saw brothers Arie Esiri and Chuko Esiri as the biggest winners.
The Esiri brothers’ directorial movie, ‘Eyimofe’, also known as ‘This Is My desire’, clinched five plaques at the award show in categories like Best Director, Best Nigerian Film and others.
It was hosted by Chioma Omeruah (Chigul), and Stanley Chibuna (Funny Bone), graced by different dignitaries, including the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
