Fulham thrash Forest 5-0 in thriller encounter

1 Min Read

Fulham demonstrated offensive prowess with Alex Iwobi and Raul Jimenez each scoring twice, marking the team’s first instance of netting three goals or more in three consecutive top-flight games since 1966.

Despite Forest’s defeat and inability to register a single shot on target, the fans vociferously supported under-pressure coach Cooper, chanting his name even after the fourth goal.

The emphatic victory, initiated by Iwobi’s goal after 30 minutes, was further highlighted by Jimenez’s clinical finish four minutes later.

Jimenez’s second goal in the second half showcased strength and composure, while Iwobi secured the fourth goal with ample space in the box.

Substitute Tom Cairney added to the tally late on, exposing Forest’s defensive struggles.

The win elevates Fulham to 13th place with a comfortable 11-point cushion from the relegation zone, whereas Forest, with just one win in their last 11 Premier League matches, sits three points behind in 16th.
