French, Saudi clubs eye Super Eagles forward Moses Simon
French clubs, namely Olympic Lyon, OGC Nice, and Lille, are reportedly eyeing Nantes winger Moses Simon, who is set to become a free agent next summer after declining to renew his contract with Nantes.
Reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the interest of these three French clubs in the Nigerian player. Additionally, there is attention from Saudi Arabia, with inquiries from Saudi clubs regarding potential conditions for the deal.
“Moses Simon, one to watch in 2024 as he’s out of contract in June. Not only OL as per @foomercato; understand also OGC Nice and Lille are interested in the Nigerian player.
“Saudi clubs have also asked for potential conditions of the deal,” Romano wrote on his X handle.
Moses Simon, 28, initially joined Nantes on loan from Spanish side Levante during the 2019/20 season, and the move became permanent the following season.
With 29 goals and 31 assists in 161 appearances for Nantes, Simon has attracted interest from both French and Saudi clubs as he approaches the end of his current contract in June 2024.
