Report just coming in from Abuja informs that the 21 Chibok girls recently released by the Boko Haram group have arrived the Presidential Villa, Abuja where they are expected to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to source, the girls arrived with their parents and family and they are currently being screened at the Banquet Hall of the State House from where they would be taken into the inner precinct to meet with the president.

They girls are being led into the Villa by the Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassa.

See video of their arrival below:

It is unclear if today’s meeting with Mr president is only with the parents of the 21 released girls or all the parents of the over 200 kidnapped girls.

Only 21 of the over 200 girls who were abducted from their school hostel in April 2014 by the Boko Haram terrorists were released last week following negotiations with the Nigerian government.
