Fulani herdsmen reportedly took their heels on Monday after the cows they were escorting caused a serious accident along airport road in Port-Harcourt area of Rivers state.
This was made public in pictures shared by a social media user, Ezebunwo Ichemati, who said he was at the scene of the incident.
He said two cows ran into the highway and destroyed a Toyota Camry with two passengers inside. He said the cows came out of the bush and ran into the vehicle which resulted in a serious accident.
Ichemati further disclosed that when the Fulani herdsmen who were rearing the cows saw the level of damage caused by the animals, they fled into the bush with their remaining cows.
