Tragedy struck at BrickHall Schools in Abuja as a four-year-old pupil, Miguel Ovoke, died during the school’s feeding hours.
According to a death certificate issued by Excel Specialist Hospital, Miguel was brought to the hospital unconscious by his teachers around 11 am.
The medical report revealed that Miguel choked on meat while feeding at school, leading to aspiration.
Despite efforts to resuscitate him, all attempts failed, and he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The sudden and distressing nature of Miguel’s death has left his parents suspecting foul play.
They have engaged the services of human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, to handle the case on their behalf.
