At least four House of Representatives members from the Peoples Democratic Party have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress on Tuesday.

The lawmakers, in a letter signed by a member, Suleiman Gumi, and read at Tuesday plenary, said that they left the opposition PDP due to its internal crisis which led to the dissolution of the state chapter by the national leadership of the party.

Reports revealed that the Reps members representing Zamfara State are Bello Hassan Shinkafi, Ahmed Bakura, Ahmed Shehu, and Suleiman Gumi.

WuzupNigeria reported that the Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, last month defected from the PDP to the APC.
