American singer, Jason Derulo, has called it quits with his girlfriend, Jena Frumes, barely four months after they welcomed their first son together.
Jason Derulo announced his breakup in a Tweet on Thursday.
Describing her as an amazing mum, Derulo stated that being apart will allow them be the best parents for their son.
“Jena and I have decided to part ways. She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Please respect our privacy at this time,” he said.
The announcement did not state when the breakup occurred or the cause for the sudden split.
