A fatal accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Monday resulted in the deaths of four individuals.
The accident occurred when a luxury bus collided with a truck. Three others sustained varying degrees of injuries during the incident.
Mrs. Florence Okpe, the Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State, confirmed the accident in Abeokuta.
According to her, the truck did not stop after the bus collided with it while negotiating a bend near the Kara axis on the expressway.
A total of 21 individuals were involved in the accident, consisting of 13 men and eight women.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at a mortuary in Sagamu, Ogun State, while the injured individuals were taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
