One of the victims has been identified as 52-year-old Fisayo Oladipupo, a former youth leader of the All Progressives Congress in Owo Local Government Area.

Sources in the community said Oladipupo was shot in the early hours of Monday by suspected cultists. His body has been taken to the morgue at the Federal Medical Centre in Owo.
