The front woman for the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement thinks President Muhammadu Buhari is not doing enough to fulfill his promise of rescue the more than 200 girls stolen from Chibok.
Former Minister for Education, Oby Ezekwesili made the claim on Saturday while reflecting on the two protest marches staged by the movement during the week.
The group was denied seeing the president by security agencies attached to the presidency on both occasions.
She tweeted “If the actions of President @MBuhari & Govt. pass the #TestOfReasonableness there is no way, @BBOG_Nigeria will not applaud. It has not.
“April14. CNN Proof-Of-Life Video, May18. Amina Ali Nkeki’s return, Aug.14. Plea-For-Rescue-Video, Yet always, “Lack of credible intelligence”??
“Presid @MBuhari , @BBOG_Nigeria surmise that you are “too laid back” on pledge you gave to rescue #ChibokGirls. That’s our dissatisfaction!”
The former minister and co-founder of transparency international also said the group resorted to protest marches after letters and other such appeals seem to have failed.
Visit our @BBOG_Nigeria websites and read versions of such letters. Thanks and blessings. https://t.co/MWPq3Pow8w
