Hollywood star and former Disney Channel actor Matt Prokop has been arrested in Texas on charges including possession of child pornography.
Law enforcement in Victoria County confirmed to TMZ that Prokop is in custody at the county jail, held without bail after his arrest on Christmas Eve. The charges include alleged possession of child pornography and resisting arrest.
According to local news reports, the arrest stems from Prokop allegedly violating bond conditions from a previous 2024 case. In May of that year, Prokop was arrested in Victoria for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, charged with aggravated assault family violence and resisting arrest. The specifics of the bond violation are unclear.
Prokop, originally from Victoria, Texas, rose to fame in the mid-2000s with roles on “The Office” and “Hannah Montana” before landing a part in *High School Musical 3*.
He is also known for his past relationship with “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland, who obtained a three-year restraining order against him in 2014, alleging verbal and physical abuse.
