A former Real Madrid player and current right-back for Shakhtar Donetsk, Vinicius Tobias, recently faced a devastating revelation.
The 20-year-old Brazilian footballer had just celebrated the birth of his daughter, Maite, on October 8, and even got her name tattooed on his arm with the words “Maite, I love you.”
However, a DNA test has now confirmed that Maite is not his biological child.
Tobias and his ex-wife, Ingrid Lima, had an on-and-off relationship around the time Maite was conceived. Ingrid, who is a social media influencer, shared the difficult news publicly.
In a social media post, Ingrid explained, “Vinicius and I haven’t been together for a while. During that time, I was in a relationship with someone else, and so was he. We both moved on with our lives. In the meantime, Maite came along. We decided to do a DNA test, and Maite is not Vinicius’ daughter.”
So far, Vinicius Tobias has not made any public comment about the DNA results. The situation has shocked many of his fans and followers.
