A young girl has reportedly died after she was swept away by flood following heavy rainfall.
The incident was said to have happened at the Redeemed Church road, Okpanam, Delta State.
WuzupNaija gathered that the deceased, who is yet to be identified, is believed to be about 12 years old.
The girl was said to have unknowingly stepped into an open drain filled with flood waters and got swept away. Her body was later retrieved after the flood subsided
