Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour dropped his new single video, ‘Most high‘ on Tuesday. It drew tears from many fans.
Most High is a deviation from the 33-year-old’s typical highlife/Afropop pattern. Instead, the N’abania crooner went spiritual with a solemn melody a la ‘Steve Crown’ or Joe Praise.
In the spirit of giving back to fans and mentoring aspiring singers, the video featured Semah G. Weifur who refer to the musician as his Idol. Semah is a blind boy from Liberia.

Semah sang fluently in Igbo and would have passed for an Igbo boy from Nigeria if not that his identity was disclosed on Flavour’s page.
It is an all-white affair for the costume. Everything that appeared in the video carris a touch of white; perhaps musician was trying to play by the rule that attractive or light colours bring life to people who are visually impaired.
“The single started with a chorus by Flavour with the Chorus:

The song is about the magnificence of God as the title ‘Most High’ suggests.
The video was shot at a beach which makes the scene very natural.
Flavour really won the heart of so many fans with this song and might be on top of music ratings for the month. Currently, the song has been rated number one on the trending list with 384k subscribers and 377, 854 views on Youtube.
Prior to the shooting of the video, Semah, disclosed that his dream was to meet Flavour and Masterkraft and sing with them.
The Liberian boy, who said he had been listening to his Idol’s songs on radio, made a request from a human rights activist who paid him a visit.
“…I can’t see you, but I can feel you. I know your song, but my dream in life is to meet Flavour and Masterkraft.
“I am blind, but I want to be a musician. I want to sing a song for Flavour.” he told the woman.
Oh yes! dreams really come true, On March 19, 2017, Flavour met with Semah in Liberia and now shooting a video with him.
Flavour wrote on Instagram page, “I made a new friend, Semah G. Weifur, He’s blind and sang my songs better than me… Watch the full video of our meeting on YouTube… coming meeting soon!”
