Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has written a bold and emotional birthday message to his colleague and close friend, Kate Henshaw, leaving fans surprised on social media.
In the lengthy post shared on Instagram, Jim poured out his hidden feelings for Kate, recalling their early days in the movie industry. He said he was only 23 when he started having deep thoughts about her but she treated him like a younger brother instead.
“Fuck you, on behalf of my 23-year-old self, for treating me like your baby brother when you knew all that time I wanted to hit that,” Jim wrote.
He also revealed that Kate used to give him money for food and transport and even helped him with audition tips.
The actor went on to imagine the kind of child they would have had together if she had allowed him to “experiment with his seed.” According to him, the child would have been in their mid-twenties by now.
Jim also praised Kate’s beauty, saying many young girls are struggling with surgeries like BBL and Botox just to look like her, but none can match her natural appearance.
“Fuck you on behalf of these young girls killing themselves and doing way too much trying to figure out how to keep up with you,” he said.
He blamed himself for being too wild and restless when Kate finally gave him a chance, saying he was “crazy and dumb” and got carried away by fame. He also mentioned that Kate stopped looking out for him and later married a white man.
Yet, despite all, Jim said he still feels joy whenever he runs into her.
“This fuck you is just because we’re Nigerians. We insult those we love!” Jim added before wishing her a happy birthday.
He ended the post by calling Kate a phenomenal creature and a force of nature, saying, “Your wild boy loves you!”
