Five films that will make you love Adebayo Faleti forever

On Sunday, celebrated actor, playwright, Adebayo Faleti, passed on. He died in his home in Ibadan at the age of 86 due to old age.

Faleti, was a multi-talented man who would be remembered for different things by different people. Some would remember him as an actor, others would remember him as a playwright. He was also a poet. Faleti translated the “Arise O Compatriot” to Yoruba. He was a teacher. He also worked as the General Manager of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS). The man who died at 86, lived a culture conscious life.

The best memories for many though were the ones with him on screen. Whenever he was acting, he made sure to spice everything up with parables, proverbs, songs, and poetry.  Here are such moments from five of the films he acted.

He was credited as the writer of the 2001 film Thunderbolt Magun. He Directed Bashorun Gaa 2004 and Sawo Segberi 2005.
