Five facts about Handkerchief hit maker, Cash Wale
Nigerian singer and songwriter, Lawal Ismaila, popularly known as Cash Wale, is making waves with his hit banger, “Handkerchief”.
Signed to Cashgang Ent and managed by Flyest Entertainment and Sports Management Cash Wale for his hit single “Handkerchief” which hit our airwaves in 2018.
But aside from his singles “Handkerchief” and “Ifeoma,” what else do you know about the Lagos based singer?
- Lawal or Cash Wale was born in Lagos State on 10 September 1989 and the eldest among four children.
- He attended the Baptist Academy, Obanikoro and later had his secondary education at Good Shepherd Schools. He gained admission to study Civil Engineering at the University of Lagos, earning his degree in 2012.
- His first single was Oshomolo and Handkerchief which brought him into the limestone in 2018. The song was released as jubilation just in time his best friend was released from prison for the possession of drug charges.
- Wale is signed to CashGang Records, and managed by Flyest Entertainment and sports management.
- He has featured the likes of Idowest, Dammy Krane, CDQ, Lyta and was recently featured on HKN prince Sina Rambo’s single” Kolor Kolor”.
