FIRST ROYAL GAY WEDDING! Cousin to Queen Elizabeth II, Lord Ivar set to marry his partner
The cousin to Her Royal Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Lord Ivar Mountbatten is set to wed his longtime partner, James Coyle.
Lord Ivar, who will become the first person in the extended royal family to enter into a same-sex marriage disclosed that he will be given away by his ex-wife, Penny.
Lord Ivar, who has been married before with three beautiful daughters have their support to go ahead with the same-sex marriage.
Lord Ivar in a recent interview where he spoke about the forthcoming wedding said,
“I really wanted to do it for James. He hasn’t been married. For me, what’s interesting is I don’t need to get married because I’ve been there, done that and have my wonderful children; but I’m pushing it because I think it’s important for him. James hasn’t had the stable life I have. I want to be able to give you that.”
He said they plan on having a small intimate wedding with close family and friends in attendance.
However, it is not clear if any member of the royal family will be in attendance because it is widely known that the Queen supports the LGBTQ community.
