Fire destroys Katsina govt house fuel station

A fire broke out early Monday morning at the Katsina State Government House fueling station. Flames were seen around the area, confirming the incident.

A nearby resident said the fire started around 6 a.m. and described seeing a fire service truck rush to the scene.

“I saw a fire service truck rushing in. I was in my house as early as 6 a.m. after prayers. A fire service truck rushed into the Government House, and I later learned there was an inferno inside the red chamber where Governor Dikko used to host guests,” the resident reported.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the government has not yet issued a statement about the incident.
