Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Spanish forward Ferran Torres from Barcelona, handing the World Cup hero a contract that will keep him in the French capital until 2031. This Ferran Torres PSG transfer marks a significant milestone for both the player and the club.

Torres brings experience to PSG attack
Born in Foios, Spain, Torres began with futsal before joining Valencia’s academy at seven. He progressed through the club’s youth system and made his La Liga debut against Eibar in December 2017.
He went on to make 97 appearances for Valencia and won the Copa del Rey in 2019 before Manchester City signed him the following year.
At City, Torres worked under Pep Guardiola and helped the club win the Premier League and League Cup while also reaching the 2021 Champions League final. He recorded 16 goals and four assists in 43 appearances before returning to Spain with Barcelona in the 2021-22 winter transfer window. Moving from Manchester City to Barcelona, and now with Ferran Torres PSG, the forward has demonstrated his adaptability at the highest level.
The forward, nicknamed “El Tiburón,” became an important attacking option at Barcelona and scored 65 goals in 207 appearances.
He also collected three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups during his time with the Catalan club.
World Cup success caps Spain career
Torres enjoyed success with Spain even before establishing himself in the senior national team, winning the European Under-17 Championship in 2017 and Under-19 European Championship two years later.
After making his senior debut under Luis Enrique, he represented Spain at Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup before helping the country win the UEFA Nations League in 2023 and European Championship in 2024.
His biggest international moment came this summer when his extra-time strike against Argentina secured Spain’s second World Cup title. As the new season approaches, Ferran Torres PSG supporters are eager to see what he will accomplish in Ligue 1.
