Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho as an impressive and passionate individual.
Fani-Kayode disclosed this after a meeting with the Yoruba activist on Thursday as revealed in his verified Twitter handle.
Although the details were not disclosed, the meeting at Igboho’s home in Ibadan, Oyo State comes amidst the recent Ethnic clashes between the Yorubas and the Hausas in the Shasha market in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state as well as activities of Fulani herdsmen, who go about with AK-47 guns.
“I had a wonderful lunch and a very fruitful and productive meeting with my friend and brother Chief Sunday Adeyemo (aka Sunday Igboho) in his beautiful Ibadan home today. He is truly impressive and very passionate. May God be with him, his family and his entire household,” Fani-Kayode tweeted.

Igboho became a topic of discussion when he and his supporters stormed the Igangan, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State in attempt to chase out the Fulani herdsmen in the area after the expiration of a seven-day quit notice he gave to the herdsmen over the alleged incessant killings, kidnappings, and destruction of farms carried out by herdsmen in Ibarapaland.
He has also called for an Independence of the South-western on Nigeria’s independence day last October but his Yoruba Republic call was not widely accepted.
