Female doctor cuts off boyfriend’s penis for fleeing on wedding day
A 25-year-old female doctor in Bihar, India, cut off her boyfriend’s penis after he failed to show up for their wedding.
The gruesome act of revenge occurred on Monday according to Daily Mail.
The boyfriend, from Madhaura, was rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital for emergency treatment following the attack.
The accused girlfriend claimed she had been in a relationship with the man for five years and was furious when he repeatedly refused to marry her.
She eventually persuaded him to agree to a registered court marriage. However, on the wedding day, he did not show up at the altar.
After waiting in vain, she returned home and invited him over, where she allegedly used a knife to cut off his penis when he arrived. Neighbors heard his screams and alerted the police.
When the police arrived, they found the seriously injured man lying in a pool of blood. The Station House Officer of Madhaura police station in Saran district stated, “The woman is a 25-year-old unmarried doctor from Hajipur. She was practicing in Madhaura. The victim is also unmarried. We have arrested the accused and further investigation is underway.”
This incident is not the first of its kind in India. In previous years, there have been several reports of women cutting off their partners’ genitals in acts of revenge.
In 2018, an Indian woman cut off her husband’s genitals for neglecting her and spending time with his second wife. In 2017, a jilted girlfriend cut off her lover’s penis with a sickle after he said he was marrying someone else.
That same year, a woman was arrested for cutting off her husband’s penis during an argument over his extramarital affair.
Additionally, a “sex-starved” wife cut off her husband’s penis after he refused to have sex with her for ten years of their 11-year marriage, believing he was having an affair.
