Female bouncer, 28, who beat girlfriend’s 16-month-old daughter to death convicted

A bouncer identified as Savannah Brockhill, 28, has been found guilty of killing a 16-month-old girl from injuries after weeks of assaults and psychological harm.
Brockhill murdered her 20-year-old girlfriend, Frankie Smith’s daughter, Star Hobson, at her home in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
Smith was also convicted for allowing the death of the child.
Star was taken to hospital on September 22, 2020, but could not survive because of the terrible injuries sustained, the court heard as reported by Dailymail.
The jury heard the injuries which caused the toddler’s death involved extensive damage to her abdominal cavity.
These were ’caused by a severe and forceful blow or blows, either in the form of punching, stamping or kicking to the abdomen’.
Although both women denied inflicting the injuries pointing fingers at each other, Mrs Justice Lambert told the jury it was Brockhill (bouncer) who inflicted the fatal injuries on the toddler.
A number of relatives and friends of Smith also attested to the fact that they had seen bruises on Star and had filmed them in some cases.
