Nigerians have been making waves on the continent as well as across the globe from Sport to music, business to science, in almost every sphere of human endeavours.

The likes of Mr. Eazi, Burna Boy, Davido, and WizKid, in the time past, have made the Forbes' list but this year's edition appears to be exceptional.

It focused on the young individuals who, against all odds, defied the global pandemic and increased public consciousness of racial inequality that challenged both entrepreneurs and creators all over the world.

"The Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list is our most coveted list of the year, and what makes this year's compilation even more compelling is the fighting spirit of the candidates who made it through a turbulent year.

"They need to be honoured for their tenacity as leaders charting a non-linear trajectory to success, and they are also representative of Africa's greater talent trove that they will in turn help shine a light on," says Renuka Methil, managing editor of Forbes Africa.

As such, the Nigerians below did themselves and Nigeria proud by making waves as billionaires, fund managers, entrepreneurs, and entertainers coupled with their approach to business, mental health and activism.
