Supporters of May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, have once again shown their loyalty as she turns 42 on September 16.
The fans stormed her Lagos home on Monday with a N1 million cash gift, a cow, flowers, cake, and other surprises. A video shared on her page captured the moment May stood in shock, struggling to find words.
In her caption, she wrote, “Birthday surprise! It’s not even 16th yet… Thank you, lovers of the Queen. Thank you, May Nation worldwide.”
The entrepreneur and influencer also unveiled her official birthday photos, describing her journey as one filled with grace, growth, and gratitude.
“Before now, my life has been a journey of lessons, blessings, and becoming. Now, it is a journey of grace, growth, and gratitude,” she wrote. “Today, another chapter begins in my life, and I choose to open this book with hope for unlimited possibilities and every good thing that comes from the Almighty.”
Her fans’ surprise has continued a trend of grand gestures. Last year, they placed her image on a Times Square billboard in New York and presented her with a white Range Rover. They also gifted her N5 million in 2023.
Nollywood colleagues have also shown her support. Actress Empress Njamah once flew from Abuja to Lagos with a cake to celebrate her, while Anita Joseph in 2022 sponsored a birthday billboard for her in Lagos.
May has continued to build her brand since her separation from Yul, launching QM Beauty, bagging endorsements, and even making her acting debut.
