Fans react as singer, Qdot, drops ‘Alagbe’ album

Fans of Nigerian indigenous singer, Qdot have taken to Twitter to share their reactions after he dropped his new studio album titled Alagbe.

The 17-track album features Nigeria’s finest star, including  Patoranking, 9ice, Pasuma, Zlatan, Jaywon, as well as Niniola.

Announcing the album on Friday, the artist said: “Where words fail, music speaks. Life is like a beautiful melody, only the lyrics are messed up… I Hope I Make All My Fans Worldwide Proud With This One.”

Judging from reactions gathered from one of Twitter Nigeria’s top trending topics “AlagbeTheAlbum”,

@faiza_faruq tweeted thus: “Moriamo gives me goosebumps. #Alagbethealbum,” while another fan with the username @iam_lapoet said:  “I have been listening to tribute song, “Moriamo” off the #Alagbethealbum by
@qdot_alagbe is very deep and emotional. It almost draw tears from my eyes. #Alagbethealbum is a very good project.”

One user, @Sanvelly, questioned why Qdot is so underrated, he said, “Why is @qdot_alagbe so underrated!?. Baba is (fully) here to stay now. #AlagbeTheAlbum is epic.”

@Afolabibada5 said: “Qdot Sabi this music abeg… making Yoruba sweet me die.. angeli mi slaps hard. #Alagbethealbum

Another user@aplusofficial_ said: “Alagbe really burst ma brain, the man is lyrically mad, I heard the words I never hear before in my life in @qdot_alagbe album, I heard a candid advice in one of the track and it has become part of me henceforth. Thank you boss #Alagbethealbum live everywhere.”
