FACE YOUR WORK AND MIND YOUR BUSINESS! Pastor Poju Oyemade tells evangelist who questioned his trip to Russia 2018 world cup
The Senior Pastor Covenant Christian Centre, Poju Oyemade, has warned a Nigerian evangelist who questioned the significance of his trip to the Russia 2018 world cup to mind his business.
Oyemade on his Twitter page had shared a photo of him in St Petersburg for the semifinals between France and Belgium on Wednesday.
Reacting to Oyemade’s post Evangelist Okafor wrote,
“What value will ds add to Ur church members than arouse them in d wrong ambience of tots!”
Oyemade also replied the evangelist, he said,
“One of the fundamental principles of life and ministry is to face your work and mind your business. Leave that to my Church members. Brother let everyman walk his own path. God bless.”
Meanwhile, some Twitter users were also quick to defend the convener of “The Platform Nigeria” saying that he deserves to also have fun like other humans do.
Some also opined that Evangelist Okafor’s “nosy” question does not deserve such a polite insult.

Ntooor. You have collected that clapback you came looking for.
Next time, mind your business, especially when it’s something as harmless to anyone as a man going to watch a World Cup match.

It’s always the ones with the smallest followers who cry the most. Evangelist please focus on the wrestling you’re watching. God bless.

Permit me to respond as a church member. The values this has passed are: dedication, commitment, hard work, aspiration & the list goes on! My Pastor has earned the right to enjoy the fruit of his endeavours, let him do so as he sees fit. God bless

@Evangelistokafo asked you a very fundamental question and all you could do was to clap back at him and your delusional followers are busy celebrating your clap back. @pastorpoju Pastors like you are the reason why Christianity is gradually turning into a thing of mockery.

Oga next Sunday’s message should be titled, the connection, between, the heart and the head.
The head being the seat of logic and reason, and the heart being our emotional recesses there
