After being put in the fray for his first start in about four months, Spanish midfield player, Francesc Fabregas was a shining light in Chelsea’s 3-1 demolition of Manchester City right before their home fans.
Antonio Conte’s side had gone behind by a goal when Navas’s shot was deflected into his own net by Gary Cahill, but Fabregas, with his trademark pass, found Diego Costa in the homes team’s half and the striker beat his marker to slot in the equalizer.
Willian and Eden Hazard completed the annihilation of the home team as Conte looks to build on his side’s impressive run to maintain the lead at the top of the league standings.

Sports fans also took some time out to hail the former Arsenal captain for his exploits in the match after what seemed like proving the manager wrong.
Below are some tweets:
Fabregas is a master of being a snide. Slaps Fernandinho plays the victim and dives over the advertising boards. Horrible cunt.
