FA Cup: Man City, three others enter quarterfinals
At least four teams have secured their spots in the quarterfinals of this season’s FA Cup tournament, following the conclusion of Tuesday’s fifth round fixtures.
Leicester City secured a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth in an away clash, earning their place in the next round.
Manchester City dominated Luton Town with a 6-2 victory, with Erling Haaland netting five goals in a remarkable performance.
Newcastle United advanced after defeating Blackburn Rovers 4-3 in a penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw in regular time.
Coventry City had already secured their spot in the quarterfinals by defeating Maidstone United 5-0 in a match played on Monday.
The remaining FA Cup fifth round fixtures will continue today, with Chelsea facing Leeds United, Manchester United taking on Nottingham Forest, Brighton clashing with Wolves, and Liverpool hosting Southampton.
