British artist and former The Only Way Is Essex cast member, Jake Hall, has died at the age of 35 following a tragic incident in Mallorca.

Reports indicate that Hall died on May 6 after sustaining serious head injuries caused by broken glass at a villa on the Spanish island.

Authorities in Spain have opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, though preliminary reports suggest the tragedy may have been accidental.

Officials are still awaiting autopsy findings to determine the exact cause of death.

Hall gained public attention after joining The Only Way Is Essex in 2015.

He later relocated to Mallorca, where he spent part of his early years, and built a career as an artist.

Beyond television and art, Hall was known as a dedicated father to his eight-year-old daughter, River, whom he shared with former Ladies of London personality Misse Beqiri. In a statement released after the news broke, Beqiri’s representative said her immediate focus is supporting their daughter through the difficult time and asked for privacy on behalf of the family.

The The Only Way Is Essex team also honoured Hall’s memory, describing him as a valued part of the programme’s family while offering condolences to his relatives and friends.

Only hours before news of his death emerged, Hall posted an emotional video montage on Instagram featuring clips of his daughter, his artwork and moments from his life in Mallorca. In the caption, he reflected on personal challenges, writing, “Life is bollocks sometimes, but I’m gonna try remember the good things.”

Since the announcement, tributes have continued to flood social media, with fans and friends remembering Hall for his kindness, artistic talent and strong bond with his daughter.
