Former Super Falcons star, Chichi Igbo  has called out the Nigerian army on her Instagram page, wondering why they get so harsh when they see non-military people wear the camouflage.

The footballer-turned-bodybuilder posted a video of herself in camou shots, vest and jacket while riding on a camouflage skate board.

It appears in the video that she was called by a real army officer who wanted a picture of her.

She gladly puts on a camou face cap to complete the dressing while the unseen officer took the photograph.

She wrote this as caption for the post, “It’s so fucked up cos I had a first hand experience and I can tell you these guys don’t play.

“MY OWN EXPERIENCE: That video reminded me of the bad experience I had with an officer wearing that same camo shorts, it was ugly cos first Dude pulled over in front of me and I approached him cos I thought he was looking for direction but I stepped when he questioned if I was an officer, dude got angry, cos they love respect in that country, first I didn’t “Sir” him seeing his expensive ride then walking out on him. First, you didn’t pull up in an army van, neither are you wearing an army uniform so I had to demand for an ID when he caught up to me, Dude went mad, now it’s not about what I was wearing but my “disrespect” to him, in my world respect is reciprocal. Anyways Dude said he would teach me a lesson and Made a call that I thought was a bluff, then it hit me, Chi you are in Nigeria, a country where no one have rights, play smart, so I recomposed myself, apologized and told him I didn’t know it was a crime to wear camouflage and promised to go home and change, 3 mins letter an Army van full of officers drove pass me ?I still wondered what would’ve happened if I hadn’t played smart. Smh #nigerianarmy”

However, one of the people who commented on the page gave an excuse for the army, saying their action was to avoid impersonation and other crimes.
