The immediate past Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Ogbonna Nwuke, on Monday officially resigned from his position as the spokesman of the party.

Nwuke disclosed in Port Harcourt that his decision followed perceived “marginalization and abandonment of Etche people” under the watch of the current administration of federal government led by the APC

Although the disgruntled spokesman explained that he has not yet decided on the political party to join, he did not rule out the possibility of defecting to the People’s Democratic party.

The former APC spokesmans said that he has made up his mind to ” align with those who are ready to develop Etche”.

The politician claimed that for six years Etche people were yet to feel any “impact of the federal government” particularly in the area of “empowerment, appointment and infrastructural development”.

Nwuke stressed that it was wrong for him to remain in a party that promised his people change but won’t fulfill it.

According to him, he left the party stronger and more united than as he met it when he took over the affairs of information management.
