Ex-military officer declared missing in Ekiti
Ekiti State Police Commissioner, Tunde Mobayo, has declared a 75 years old retired military officer, Adeyemi Williams, missing.
Mobayo said that Williams resident at “29 Alafia Lodge, Erio Ekiti, a retired Army officer, left home since about three weeks ago to unknown destination and never returned home”.
This came five days after the police declared a 16 years old POS operator at Oke Bola Street in Ado Ekiti, Faith Esther Olatunji, missing.
The CP, in a ‘Press release’ by the Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, on Saturday stated that “all efforts made to know his (the retired military officer’s) whereabouts proved abortive”.
He stated, “He (Williams) is 78 years old, has dotted spots on his face, six feet tall, speaks English and Yoruba languages fluently.
Abutu stated that the police had begun investigations on the missing retired military officer “to unravel his whereabouts,” adding, “Meanwhile, the command is appealing to members of the public to supply relevant information that could help us locate his whereabouts”.
