Former Manchester United star, Phil Neville has been officially named as the manager of MLS side, Inter Miami on Monday.
The club partly owned by Neville’s brother, Gary and their United co-teammate, Da vid Beckham, confirmed Phil’s appointment via a statement.
Phil who was the former head coach for England Women will now replace former Miami manager, Diego Alonso, who parted ways with the club earlier this month.
“This is a very young club with a lot of promise and upside, and I am committed to challenging myself, my players and everyone around me to grow and build a competitive soccer culture we can all be proud of,” said Neville.
“This fantastic soccer-loving market deserves consistent performances and a winning mentality, and I look forward to getting to work.”
