Former Big Brother Naija ‘Shine ya Eyes’ star Maria Chike Benjamin welcomes her first child, a baby boy.
The ex-air hostess took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the joyous news with her followers.
In the heartwarming post, Maria posted a video of her hands wrapped around her newborn’s tiny feet and captioned it, “Leonardo AmaraNna Anene 01/10/2023. I just want to say Thank you God. My heart is so full and grateful. I’ve found the light in me that I couldn’t find all these years. Thank you for choosing us as your parents.”
Maria and her partner, Kevin Anene, had previously announced their pregnancy on June 22, 2023.
The news of their baby’s arrival was met with congratulatory messages from Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello, Mercy Eke, Neo Akpofure, and other Big Brother reality stars.
Maria had unveiled her baby bump shortly before the commencement of the Big Brother Naija All-Stars season, leading many to speculate that her pregnancy might have been the reason for her absence from the recently concluded All-Stars show.
